Games room
To keep you occupied we have a games room with a pool table, table tennis table, table
football, Nintendo Wii and an electronic dart board (with
plastic safety darts, suitable for children). We also have a
selection of board games, books and DVDs that you are welcome to borrow.
Food and drink
Although the idea of a gite holiday is that your accommodation is fully equipped for self-catering,
we also offer fresh bread and patisseries for breakfast which are delivered every morning from a local boulangerie.
In addition, we prepare a fresh home cooked "Plat du Jour" on selected days of the week, which you can either
have delivered to your gite or eat in the bar if you decide to order it. Please note, that during school holidays,
the number of Plat du Jours offered per week reduces as experience has shown that less families order food as they are going
out for meals in the evenings.
Some typical Plat du Jour menus are:
Starters:
Coquille St Jacques (scallops in cider and cream)
Tempura Tiger Prawns with sweet chilli sauce
Roquefort and Pear Tarte
Charentais
Melon and Mint salad
Main courses:
Cous Cous Royale (lamb, chicken and merguez cous cous)
Moules Frites
Scallop and Salmon Brochettes
Fillet Steak and chips cooked to your liking.

Vegetarian Burritos
Deserts:
Tarte Normande (apple,
almond and calvados tarte)
Dame Blanche (traditional
ice cream desert)
Chocolate fondant and ice cream
Fresh fruit salad
